Rides and Dual in Alabama (an hour from Pensacola and Mobile)

Andy Bibber writes as follows:

“I wanted to let all the N3N and open cockpit biplane fans out there know that I am offering flight instruction in 44970. I’m based at 1R8 (Bay Minette, Alabama). About an hours drive from either Pensacola or Mobile. We have about 1700′ of grass that is perfect for taildragging”

“For the summer of 2015, we will be working in Fairbanks, Alaska, along with our SNJ-4 and returning to Bay Minette in October for the winter months.”

Anyone up for an adventure? More from Andy:

“44970 is not a hangar queen, we have adventures frequently. Often, the front seat is empty, so, if there are pilots and other folks out there that want to see the countryside from a different perspective, we may have something that will interest you. Right now, we have the Alabama to Alaska trip for mid May if anyone would like to fly along for the journey or part of it. We will be returning from Alaska in early October.”

Benny Britt told me that this is a painting of his aircraft – it’s historically correct down to the Bendix wheels:
